Hi! I'm Caroline, a dedicated yoga practitioner and registered yoga therapist.
Before I first discovered yoga in my early forties, I felt a dull sense of dissatisfaction in my life... What I hadn’t realised was what a mess I really was!
Raised by a mother with undiagnosed PTSD, her crippling overwhelm and anxiety was my “normal”. She transmitted her anxieties to me, and as I became an adult, my everyday life was filled with anger, frustration and exhaustion. Life was not easy.
I had inherited many of my mother’s damaging habitual reactions to everyday life events, and I experienced a dull and constant unhappiness. This underlying emotional state combined with raising two kids were not a great mix. I felt lost, like a failure. invisible, not valued...
Then I started practicing yoga. One month into the practice, I could feel that something was different: I was calmer, less prone to bouts of anger, and mind was clearer. Over time, the changes became so profound that I decided to follow this passion and pursued formal training as a yoga teacher in 2015, and then as a yoga therapist in 2018.
Yoga has turned my life around. It keeps me grounded and aware of my mental states at all times. It has also led me to research areas such as neuroscience, and I use this new science as a foundation for my teachings.
My mission? Help women overcome overwhelm and anxiety, and become empowered to live their best lives!
